Kaitlyn Comfort is a costume technologist, draper, and garment artist based in Austin. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Costume Technology at The University of Texas at Austin, where her work focuses on how structure and material shape character and storytelling. Her practice blends historical technique with contemporary experimentation across draping, tailoring, and nontraditional materials. She is committed to thoughtful craft, collaboration, and creating garments that support performers and spark imagination.
